The Quality Data Abstractor Association (QDAA) was created by abstractors, for abstractors.
After years of working in clinical data abstraction, we recognized something was missing: a place where abstractors across specialties, registries, organizations, and experience levels could connect, ask questions, share knowledge, learn from one another, and realize that sometimes “it depends” really is the answer.
QDAA is an independently created and operated professional community. This site is provided as a free resource because we believe there is a need for a collaborative space dedicated specifically to the people doing this work.

Why does QDAA link to other organizations and websites?
Part of our mission is helping abstractors find useful information without having to search all over the internet for it.
Resources and external websites included on QDAA have been identified through research, professional experience, recommendations, or their relevance to the abstraction community.

No. QDAA is a peer-based educational and professional community.

No. QDAA is independently operated and is not owned, sponsored, endorsed, or operated by our employers or by any hospital, healthcare system, registry, accrediting body, government agency, or professional organization unless a specific partnership or affiliation is expressly identified.
